VIDEO of the 'Audi' car used to murder businessman in Elbasan released

VoxNews has obtained footage of the vehicle involved in the murder of businessman Edmond Mëhalla in Elbasan.

The 'Audi' car was taken by citizen Marsel Arani from a garage in the 21st December area.

The car was found burned in Miraka, Librazhd, and had been taken in Tirana the day before the murder.


Arani, a resident of Elbasan, has been declared wanted by the police, suspected of being the perpetrator of the incident, along with citizen Armando Kola, from Laçi, but their roles have not yet been determined.

But two other people were arrested: Xhino Ago, 32, a former partner of the murdered businessman, who turned out to have lent the car used in the murder to Marsel Aran, and Kujtim Pisha, 52, a guard at the gas station owned by the victim, suspected of failing to report a crime.

Marsel Arani was under house arrest for another criminal offense.

From the investigations so far, investigators suspect that the incident was sparked by a dispute between two former associates, Edmond Mëhalla, who was killed, and Xhino Aga, who was handcuffed by the Elbasan police.
