A citizen reported on the show Fiks Fare that after a surgical intervention on his nose, not only did his breathing not improve, but his condition worsened and his aesthetic appearance was deformed.

Franci Ajdinaj tells the show Fiks Fare that he had a nose surgery at Family Hospital, by doctor Tedi Minarolli. According to him, initially he had a slight problem with breathing, and decided that, in addition to the functional intervention, he would also perform an aesthetic correction.

"I went for a minor breathing problem and thought about fixing the aesthetic part as well. The doctor told me that the intervention was only done privately, so I decided to have it done at Family Hospital," says Ajdinaj.

He claims that he had agreed to an open technique intervention, but the operation was performed using a closed technique.

"When I came out of the surgery and realized it was done with a closed technique, I asked the doctor why it wasn't done as we agreed. He told me it's the same thing ," the citizen says.

After the surgery, Ajdinaj says his nose is still crooked and he has more breathing problems than before the surgery. He says he has had other medical consultations, where it was suggested that the surgery could be redone, but the procedure would require bone material from the ear or ribs and would cost between 15,000 and 20,000 euros.

According to him, the clinic is not responsible and has refused to redo the surgery.

Meanwhile, Ajdinaj says he also has a consultation document from another hospital, where he was recommended to have the surgery repeated.

"Fiks Fare" journalists have arrived at the clinic premises to receive an official response. The manager initially stated that she would ask the administrator if she could give a statement, but then refused to speak, demanding that the team leave the premises. Hitting the camera and microphone, she says "I don't want to give any answers even though I know the case."
