A serious incident occurred a few minutes ago in the village of Peshtan Bregas, Frakull Administrative Unit, Fier Municipality, where a 36-year-old man identified as Hamza Duraj tragically lost his life while working on agricultural land.

According to sources from the scene, as well as from the Fier Local Police Directorate, it is learned that the young man had gone out to work the land with a tiller, when he is suspected of accidentally tripping and falling to the ground.

At that moment, the agricultural vehicle ran over his body, causing fatal injuries and instant death.

The body was found by family members, who were concerned after he was not answering their phone calls. They immediately notified emergency services.

Police officers and an ambulance arrived at the scene, which transported the 36-year-old to the Fier Regional Hospital, but unfortunately he died at the scene.

Currently, the body is in the morgue of the Fier Regional Hospital, where a forensic examination is expected to be carried out.

Then, the family members will retrieve the body to perform the funeral ceremony the next day.

Police are working to fully clarify the circumstances of this tragic accident.
