New details have been revealed from the assassination attempt recorded yesterday morning at the Panaja crossing in Vlora, where Kalashnikov Geno alias Shpati Lena and Hakim Xhezo were executed with gunfire.

Sources close to the investigative group indicate that the perpetrators were masked with hoods. From the security cameras at the entrance to the highway, it is revealed that they shot with 2 Kalashnikovs from the BMW type vehicle with black windows that was found burned in Frakull of Fier.

The police have taken the footage of the security cameras, during the entire movement of Lena and Xhezo, to see if the two young men were followed by the perpetrators.

The Vlora police escorted 15 people to the police station, but a small number of them were eyewitnesses, while the rest were friends and relatives of the victims who may know about the incident.

There are two lines of investigation where the police are investigating, that of enmity, for the murder of the businessman, Arben Beqiraj from Eduart Xhezo, the brother of Hakim Xhezo, and the track of drug deals.

The two young men were driving a Benz at the time of the attack by the executioners who were in a BMW and shot with automatic volleys.

There are bullet marks in the back, on the side, while the shelling is concentrated on the windshield of the car driven by Hakim Xezo, while Shpati Lena was a passenger. The attack lasted less than two minutes.

Then the executioners drove away quickly towards Fier and then the car took the exit on the right in Levan going to the national road Levan Tepelen where they also set fire to the vehicle in the abandoned area

The vehicle was stolen a few days ago in Durrës, as they had put Italian license plates on it in order to lose track of it.

Inside it were found three Kalashnikovs burnt by the flames, which made it difficult to identify the evidence that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.

Geno alias Shpati Lena had his birthday yesterday, while he and his friend Hakim Xhezo were on their way to Lushnja prison when he was assassinated on the way out of Vlora. Clothes and food were found in the vehicle, while they were taking Eduard Xhezoz, sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of Arben Beqiraj.
