The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has provided details of the joint operation with Italian authorities where 52 arrest warrants were issued in both countries. 

The head of SPAK stated that one of the most powerful criminal groups in Albania was hit.

Altin Dumani, at the press conference, stated that there are strong suspicions that this criminal group was involved in international drug trafficking and money laundering.

Altin Dumani:  A powerful blow has been dealt to one of the most powerful criminal groups in Albania, which is strongly suspected of being involved in international drug trafficking and money laundering.

This operation, supported by in-depth investigations and effective inter-institutional information exchange, is proof of what can be achieved when justice institutions and law enforcement structures cooperate, with professionalism and trust.
