GJKKO appeal leaves Road Chief Roven Zeka in prison, measure for Sokol Novak

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has decided to leave in force the security measure of "prison arrest" for the head of the Tirana Traffic Police Commissariat, Roven Zeka. The decision was given by judge Engert Pëllumbi.

Meanwhile, the security measure has been relaxed for the head of accident investigation, Sokol Novaku, who will remain under "house arrest" due to extenuating family circumstances.

Both officials are under investigation for issues related to breach of duty and abuse of powers within the framework of their functional duties in the traffic police structures.
