Serious accident on the Tirana-Durres axis, 28-year-old man loses his life

A serious accident resulting in the death of a young man occurred shortly after midnight on the Tirana-Durres axis.

A 28-year-old man lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into the side of the road. As a result of the injuries he sustained.

The young man, a citizen with the initials A.Gj., died in hospital.

"On 27.11.2025, at around 00:30, on the Tirana-Durrës highway, citizen A. Gj., 28 years old, is suspected of having lost control of the vehicle, and then the vehicle collided with the side curbs of the road. As a result, the 28-year-old died in hospital. Work is underway to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police statement said.
