The Criminal College is expected to convene next week, regarding the Prime Minister's request regarding the "Balluku" case.
The College will decide on December 2nd whether or not the government's request will be considered. It is learned that the rapporteur is Sandër Beci, while Marsida Xhaferllari will replace Holta Zaçaj at the College.
Six days ago, the Council of Ministers addressed the Constitutional Court to suspend the decision of the Constitutional Court, which suspended Belinda Balluku from both positions, as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.
The letter argues that leaving the GJKKO decision in force, 'would bring irreparable consequences for the governance of the country, creating an institutional vacuum, dysfunction of the Council of Ministers and the inability to exercise the responsibilities and powers that the Constitution and the legislation in force recognize exclusively for the executive branch.'
