A preliminary hearing for the "Partizani" case will be held today, May 19, at 11:30 at the GJKKO. 

Judge Floreja Davidhi is expected to decide whether to pass the case file for trial with defendants Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltez, Fatmir Bektashi, Xhimi Begeja and Andia Pustina.

Sending the file to trial would be Berisha and Malltez's first real confrontation with justice.

Berisha is under "compulsory appearance" for corruption, while his son-in-law Malltezi is being investigated under house arrest, accused of passive corruption and money laundering.
