Pogradec Hospital

An emergency doctor of the Pogradec hospital has been put under investigation by the police, after being accused of the criminal offense "Negligence in medical treatment". It is about the doctor with initials GZ, 44 years old, resident in Pogradec.

Official sources suggest that the criminal proceedings against this doctor came after the report made by the citizen DM, 37 years old, resident in Fier, who claims on March 28 of this year, at the emergency room of Pogradec hospital, this doctor has not performed appropriate examinations on her brother, citizen DM, 34 years old, resident in Pogradec.

Unfortunately, her brother died in the apartment two days after he was visited in the Pogradec Emergency, due to a heart attack.  

The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Pogradec Court of First Instance, for further action.
