Edi Rama and the families of the victims

As every year, Prime Minister Edi Rama paid homage on the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation" together with the families of the deceased and members of the government cabinet for the serious event recorded 12 years ago, on January 21, 2011.

Rama and the family members of the victims have placed flowers on the boulevard at the places where each of the 4 protesters, Ziver Veizi, Faik Myrtaj, Hekuran Deda and Aleks Nika, were killed.

After the tributes, Prime Minister Rama and the families of the victims continued the meeting without the presence of the media.

On January 21, 2021, the four protesters killed were declared by the government "Martyrs of the Motherland" on the 10th anniversary of the protest in which they lost their lives.
