UEFA presents the Euro2024 final ball, directly connected to VAR

UEFA in collaboration with the Adidas company have presented the ball that will be used in the semi-final stage and in the final of the European football championship that is being played in Germany.

The novelty of this ball is technological, as it is directly connected to the VAR room. The ball will collect all the data and signal to the referees in the VAR room.

According to Adidas, this innovation combined with player position and artificial intelligence will contribute to the improvement of semi-automatic offside technology.

The new ball is called "Fussballliebe Finale" and has been changed visually as gold and black details have been added.

The background is no longer white but silver, symbolizing the color of the trophy. The color has been specially tested so that the manufacturer can be sure that there will not be one that could disturb the players on the court.
