Silvinjo receives Albanian citizenship, with passporting in Lushnje

The Brazilian coach of the Albanian national football team, Sylvinho Mendes, has received an Albanian passport. 

Sylvinho will be sworn in as a citizen of Lushnje, which means that his civil status will be in Lushnje. 

Sylvinho will be a resident of the "Liberation" neighborhood, but it is not known why he chose this city.

The Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla and the Mayor of Lushnje, Eriselda Sefa, were present at the swearing-in ceremony. 

At the end of 2023, President Begaj announced the decree for the granting of an Albanian passport to coach Sylvinho, while today the technician of the Albanian national team traveled to Lushnja to carry out the official procedures and his registration as a resident of Lushnja.
