Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano will clash for the Conference League trophy today, with the final kicking off at 9pm at Leipzig's stadium.
On Tuesday evening, the streets of the German city turned into a 'gladiator's' arena, after ultras from both clubs clashed with each other, requiring police intervention.
From the images circulating on communication channels, chairs and bottles are seen 'flying overhead', while no injuries have been reported.
Police in Leipzig had to restore calm to avoid a wider conflict between English and Spanish fans. It is reported that a group of English fans were stopped by the police.
Today's final is considered historic for both clubs, as both Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano are aiming for their first major European trophy. The winner of the Conference League will also secure participation in the Europa League next season.
