The "VAR" system is already a reality in world football, as well as in Albanian football.

The technology helps referees to minimize mistakes during matches, intervening in more delicate episodes, such as checking goals, red card interventions and fouls inside the penalty area.

From the 2021-2022 season, VAR has been applied to the elite of Albanian football, but it has already been decided that the technology will also be applied to the second level of football in the country, in other words in the First Category.

Initially, it will be applied in several matches, starting from the second half of this edition, reports Supersport.

The news was announced by the Albanian Football Federation, which confirmed through an official announcement that very soon in the First Category the referees will have the help of technology.

A change that will improve the level of judgment and in the second level of football in Albania, as VAR is applied in most of the world and is considered as one of the mechanisms that has brought a new era in the most loved sport in the world.
