"I'm not in a hurry to come back", Igli Tare: Inzagi's words
Igli Tare

Igli Tare, the former sports director of Lazio, shared his perspective on this Serie A season, in an interview given for the "Adiscorp" football gala evening.

"How pleased I was with Inzaghi's words? A lot, a lot. It is also a pride for us because his journey and path are also the result of what he learned in Lazio in Rome. We are all happy for his title, I think it's the first of many," he said initially.

Did he deserve the title?

Yes, absolutely. They are the best team in the championship, they dominated from start to finish.

What has Inzagi improved on recently?

The final lost was the awareness that has reached an important level. It also helped the environment around him to take away the weight that he had, because not much importance was paid to his journey, even though it was glorious, with many trophies. Having a little patience sometimes pays off.

How would you see Imobile with Inzaghi at Inter?

There is no doubting his quality, he can play anywhere. He is an important player for Lazio and I think it will be difficult to separate him from Lazio.

How close were you to Napoli?

It has never been accessed. It has always been baseless rumours, there has never been any real contact.

How long until we see him in action again?

I don't know, I'll do things that make sense to me. I'm not looking to go back in a hurry, I will if I find a place worth doing.

Looking for a project of at least 2-3 years?

Absolutely yes, because even to leave something important, the right project is needed. Without haste, the right project is needed.

Tiago Mota, Italiano or Paladino. Who has grown the most?

Tiago Mota of course, but let's not forget Ghilardino who did a great job with Genoa. We welcome this new generation of coaches, I like the idea of attacking play.

Do you like De Rossi?

A lot. Not only as a coach, but also as a person. I respect him a lot, we have a great relationship, he will have a great career because he has a lot of charisma.

Is Tiago Mota ideal for Juventus?

I don't know if Juve are thinking about Tiago Mota. Now it's Allegri, it's not correct to talk about others while the championship is underway.

What impression did Tudor make on Lazio?

He has an attacking style of play, the results have reached a certain point. The Monza draw halted the run a bit, but he has done a positive job so far.
