This Sunday, the Opportunity Party opened its electoral campaign. The leader of this political force, Agron Shehaj, emphasized at the Palace of Congresses that the idea that was born with 10 people, today has hundreds of thousands of supporters throughout Albania.

"There is no doubt that we cannot change the past, but today we can and must change the future. At the beginning we were 10 people with an idea that seemed crazy. Look how many of us are in this hall, with hundreds of thousands throughout Albania!", said Shehaj.

He added that this party has a clear plan, with a frontal fight against corruption and a radical improvement in the business climate.

"A state that does not burden its citizens gives every individual the opportunity to flourish. A happy Albanian is a rich and free Albanian. The fight against corruption is vital. Justice is the main pillar of society, economic growth the key to solving problems."

He said that support for SPAK will be absolute, in order to continue punishing anyone involved in corruption. "We are the real opposition, of the system! We are the only real opposition ," said Shehaj.

Shehaj made another pledge. He promised that if he wins on May 11, in addition to a series of objectives for the benefit of citizens, he will destroy the face of corruption. The latter, for Shehaj, is a 20-story building in the center of Tirana that is modeled after the head of our national hero Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg.

But for Shehaj, that building represents the prime minister, whom he does not hesitate to compare to a dictator.

"I too have something to demolish, the face of corruption that Edi Rama has built in the middle of Tirana. It is the face of corruption, every time you look at it it is the face of theft! He has placed himself in the middle of Tirana as a dictator, a banal autocrat as he is! There is no concession without his signature, no dubious tender without his approval. There is no justice if he does not come to justice!", declared Shehaj.

Not long ago, the head of government shared a photo of himself in front of the building in question, edited in such a way that it looked like they were "greeting each other." " VOTE 5 so that together we can make Albania 2030 the mistress of the United European Family," Rama wrote.
