In his meeting with Albanians in Milan, Prime Minister Edi Rama began his speech with the main objective of the Socialists, which is Albania's membership in the EU. He appealed to them, saying that every vote on May 11 goes to give our country a historic chance.
"Our destiny was, the destiny of Albanians wanted to bring us to an election that is like a final confrontation with our history, giving us the chance to change the course of history forever with one vote. A vote to make history! To mark ourselves in history, each and every one who will invest their vote for what we together want to achieve. These elections are exactly like a crossroads, like a political vote for the party that will govern for 4 years and a historic vote beyond parties. This is Albania's last ascent towards Europe and the end of our history outside Europe, we have only one date before us, May 11! Then we have only one mandate, to win the historic bet. This is the decade of the arrival of Albania's European destiny in our hands since we emerged from communist hell and the EU has put before us an agreed plan for us to close the entire membership agreement. We will put an end to the history of a people treated as a people with our own hands "Second-hand," said Rama.
"Today is the day of the Albanians. Albanians today are better than they have ever been before in their history in terms of position and image internationally. Today is the day of the Albanians and this is the month divided between April and May and this is the decade of Albania's European destiny since we emerged from communist hell."
Now, the general situation here in Italy is also turbulent. The roars of war and the general chaos warn of difficult times. Now we cannot miss this chance. We cannot miss it even for Kujtim Gjuzi's mustache. Nor for the personal plight of the Marsh owl that hides under Kujtim Gjuzi's mustache. Today is the day when every Albanian who wants to leave their children something great, something they lack, has the opportunity to make it a reality , "said Rama.
"That passport is automatic recognition of pensions, of every day of work, of every right that Italians and all EU citizens have. With that passport you will enter and exit everywhere just like Italians and no one tells you where you are going, where you have permission."
"I'm telling you, you have done a lot and you sacrifice every day, but you can't do anything more memorable for your children than a vote that at the end of this decade gives you an EU passport in 2030. You give them not only dignity but also freedom that they wouldn't otherwise have. You give them the freedom to move around like anywhere else, so that they are not foreign students but EU students. And when they look for work, they have the same access as European students ," Rama said, among other things.
