Albania coach Rolando Maran spoke at a press conference after publishing the squad list for the two friendly matches against Israel and Luxembourg.

The red and black coach revealed the reason for Yasir Asani's absence, while emphasizing that an immediate change in the national team at the moment could be dangerous.

"Jasir Asani was not invited because he did not play. I did not speak, but my colleagues contacted him. He has not played this period and it would be difficult for him to be ready for these matches.

I will try to give everyone minutes and we will see after training. I can't wait to start training. There are values ​​to express and my values. There is no better moment to be happy with this job. We all love the National Team. I have a great desire to achieve the objectives.

"I think it's a base of players who have done well and have taken the team forward. Changes should be gradual. Sudden changes can be dangerous. It's a block that can have changes, but they can be in the function of improving the National Team," Maran declared.

Albania will play Israel on June 3 and Luxembourg on June 6. Both matches will take place at the "Air Albania" stadium.
