The Albanian-Croatian "brotherhood" that was celebrated in Hamburg, on the eve and during the Croatia-Albania match, was not well received in Belgrade.
Serbia, through the general secretary of the Football Federation, Jovan Surbatovic, has condemned the behavior of the Albanian and Croatian fans in the stands of the Volksparkstadion, as he claims that they sang racist songs against the Serbs.
Regarding the calls of the fans, Surbatovic demands that UEFA punish both national teams or, according to him, Serbia will abandon the European Championship.
"We in Serbia are gentlemen, let the fans cheer their players. We want them to be punished the way the journalist's accreditation was revoked. We will seek the harshest, draconian punishment. If UEFA will not drastically punish those who sang, we do not want to participate in this competition", he told RTS.
Surbatovic's "threat" comes a few hours before Serbia goes down to the "Allianz Arena" field against Slovenia, for the second match in group C.
