Xherdan Shaqir

Another Albanian, again a record! Midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri officially becomes the first player in football to score in the last 3 European and 3 World Cups.

His national team Switzerland has started the whole Euro 2024, with a convincing 3 to 1 victory over Hungary, while Scotland suffered a total of 5 goals from the Germans.

His goal tonight against Scotland made the former Liverpool player "defeat" Cristiano Ronaldo. The world star has scored in the last five tournaments but could not find the back of the net in Portugal's win over the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

Shaqiri has scored a total of 32 goals for Switzerland and has represented the nation in 4 World Cups and 3 European Championships.
