Inzaghi towards renewal with Inter

Inter bowed out of the Champions League in the knockout stages as they were beaten by Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano, ending their hopes of winning the trophy.

Despite this defeat, the team leaders are satisfied with coach Simone Inzaghi, who is confident on the way to winning the Serie A title.

According to what is reported in the Italian media, in the following days it is expected that the 47-year-old's contract will be renewed until 2027, since the current one expires in 2025.

In addition to the extension of the term, he will suffer a salary increase from 4.5 million to 5.5 million euros. The move by the Blacks comes at a time when Inzaghi's name has been floated among Europe's most promising managers, prompting managers to take action before a tempting offer from elsewhere arrives.
