Historical / Georgia for the first time in the European, eliminates Greece

Georgia writes history. The penalty shootout smiled on the locals in Tbilisi, who triumphed over Greece with the result 4-2 on penalties, ensuring for the first time in history the qualification for the European Football Championship.

A very hard-fought match took place in Tbilisi, with both teams, despite the attempts to score, never lose their vigilance in the background, knowing the importance of the meeting.

The 90 minutes of regular time produced nothing of note and both teams headed to extra time of 30 minutes, which was also uneventful.

To mention a cross by Mavropanos in extra time and a good case by the Georgians, which anyway had only statistical value, since with the numbers 0-0, the teams went to penalties to set the ticket for the European Championship in Germany.
