Keidi Bare is no longer an Espanyol player. The Spanish club has made official the departure of Fierak, who has worn the Espanyol jersey in 119 games, on Friday afternoon.
In the club's statement, Bare is described as a tireless fighter, as well as an example of sacrifice and dedication. Bare has been playing since the 2020-2021 season and with the end of the contract, the parties have not reached an agreement to continue the cooperation.
In recent days, it has been rumored that Bare could be transferred to Piraeus, where Olympiacos will make room for him in the team. Bare was one of the most important players this season, with Espanyol managing to secure a return to La LIga, but the midfielder himself is looking for a new adventure after four years with Espanyol. Leganes and Rayo Vallecano are competing for the services of the Red and Black footballer.
Bare has been playing in Spain for 8 years, and if he moves to Greece, it would be a completely new experience for the 26-year-old, who took the first steps of his career with the Apollonia team. Bare was not part of Sylvinho's European Championship squad, although he was included by the Brazilian coach during the qualifiers, reports SuperSport.
