Coach Didier Deschamps announced this evening the list of players invited to the 2026 World Cup, which will be played in the USA.
The most serious absence is that of Real Madrid star Edoardo Camavinga. Also, Kolo Muani has not been invited to this World Cup, as has Juventus' Kalulu.
Regarding Camavinga, Deschmaps said: "He is coming off a difficult season, playing less due to injuries. He is still young. I have decisions to make, a squad structure to work with. But I can imagine his disappointment tonight."
