The payment that the Democratic Party made to strategist Chris LaCivita for the May 11 parliamentary election campaign has been revealed.

According to the DP's financial report filed with the CEC, the total amount that was deposited into the account of Chris LaCivita's Advancing Strategies company is a full 1 million and 670 thousand dollars.

Payments were made on February 11, 2025, March 16, 2025, March 24, 2025, May 26, 2025.

The last payment to LaCivita was 15 days after the elections.

"Sheriff" LaCivita became a household name during the parliamentary election campaign, with the majority always demanding transparency about the money with which he would be paid.

He appeared in several electoral meetings with the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, where he also made accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama. But the latter also made him the center of his irony during the campaign.
