It is revealed who will host Rama tomorrow in Kosovo after Kurt's rejection

The Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti declared today that he will not host his counterpart Edi Rama in the meeting, as the head of the Albanian government will undertake a "Balkan tour" starting from Pristina.

Kurti said that he cannot meet with Rama without the governments of the two countries meeting first. The meeting of the two governments was expected to take place a few weeks ago, when the tensions between Serbia and Kosovo were at a critical point, but Kurti and Vetëvendosje officials expressed dismay at Rama's positions.

However, Rama has decided not to comment on Kurt's refusal, saying that he will speak when the moment is right, the next day during his visit to Pristina. There, Prime Minister Edi Rama will be received by President Vjosa Osmani and the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca.

It is unclear whether Rama will also meet with the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, as the latter has criticized Kurti's attitude, stating that Rama is welcome in Kosovo.

"Of course, the prime minister of Albania is welcome in Kosovo. The fact that we discuss his reception or not shows a lot about the situation in which Kosovo has arrived. The Prime Minister is always welcome in Kosovo", Abdixhiku stated.

We recall that during his visit to Ulcinj four days ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama met and had dinner with President Vjosa Osmani.
