But socialists have a different approach.

"The law on the institution of the president is a necessity. In September we have to return to it. The powers are in the constitution for the president of the republic. Top Channel has learned that Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku held a meeting with President Bajram Begaj this Tuesday.

The number two of the Albanian government was seen entering the Presidency at around 13:15 and left there after about 45 minutes.

There is still no official announcement regarding the topic of the meeting, but confidential sources have indicated that important issues related to the two institutions were discussed.

The draft law on the institution of the presidency is thought to be one of the hot issues between the parties, taking the trigger from the information provided by parliamentary sources./TCH
