Deputy of the Democratic Party Xelal Mziu has stated that it seems absurd that the theft of votes becomes the refrain of the opposition after every election process.

"It has become the norm in Albania, since the partial elections in Dibër, that there is still an open file, for the SP to become even more sophisticated, alienating the votes. Exposing the alienation of votes should be the headline, but it seems absurd to me that it turns into a refrain and we cry that our votes were stolen after every pair of elections", said Mziu .

"In addition to the denunciations that must be made, the causes and reasons that have sent us to defeat must also be found. We're not facing an opponent whose style of play we don't know, so we have to respond in kind. If he uses pressure, we must use it too. Responsibility for the loss must be taken. Sometimes, that PD statute has become a bible that should not be touched, even higher than the country's Constitution. We must be contemporary and find solutions", added the democratic deputy.

According to him, the main problem that led the PD to defeat was the "fragmentation of the party".

"I have not seen in any country, that a political force wins by being divided. Even more so when you are in the opposition. Therefore, I say that this deep defeat should serve to unite the entire opposition and that we go to the 2025 elections united", emphasized Mziu in A2.
