DIASPORA VOTING/ Head of the CEC: Here is the first immigrant who received a ballot!

Ilirjan Celibashi: We have started today the preparation and sending of electoral documentation for the Korça and Lezha regions, in the second part of today we will start with the Tirana region. So far we have sent about 90 thousand envelopes which constitute 36.3% of the total number of voters who have registered as voters from abroad.

The largest countries with envelope distribution are Italy, Greece and Germany.

We aim to complete the entire process within 2 days, according to reports we have received from the postal service, the first voter to receive the envelope with the ballot belongs to the Dibër district and is in Germany, it arrived at 07:15 minutes. This is the first voter to receive the electoral documentation sent by the CEC. There are 111 voters who voted and notified the postman by phone and the envelope was withdrawn.

Voting from abroad is already considered completed, from the moment one of the voters who received the envelope has turned it back.
