Former president Bamir Topi has described in the show "S'e luan Topi" his life at the time he held this post and the period after.

He calls entering politics a step to make some changes himself.

"I became the Minister of Agriculture and Food and dedicated myself to those things that needed to be done," said the former president, while stating that "politics is beautiful, and it is an instrument to solve problems."

Bamir Topi says that the moment he was declared president of the Republic of Albania is a moment where he realizes that his whole life has changed, while he also tells a short story during that moment.

"It's another moment, when you realize that life takes a different turn. It's a mix of emotions, of course with what awaits and it happens within seconds. This task makes you feel like a different person. Enter another format. I tried to go towards the group of friends, the guard came and forced me into the car. It gives you a sense of a life that has changed. You understand in a few moments", says Topi.

After you leave that post, life goes on normally, the former president confesses, and you realize that you have really missed some things.

"When you are no longer president, life takes on the true meaning of normalcy that you once lacked. Fortunately, also because of the fact that the Albanian state does not care about the post president, in the office that has been in the presidency. There is a three year period and then you continue the life you had. I'm in the car by myself, I'm always behind the wheel. I go shopping with my girlfriend, I buy the bread myself ," he says.
