As has become customary in these elections, each winning team of the Socialist Party gives a thank-you speech.

Monday was the day of Benet Beci who won a historic mandate as mayor in Shkodër. In his speech, Beci said that Shkodra decided to be in favor of development and change, while emphasizing that he will be the leader of all, regardless of political color.

"The emotions of these two extraordinary, wonderful days, the two days when Shkodra spoke, when the citizens of Shkodra spoke, when Shkodra decided to be pro-development, pro-change, have not yet come to me. It is a great satisfaction after a month of campaigning where we talked about the projects, we discussed with everyone how to make a better Shkodra. Great trust is an extraordinary obligation that I am very grateful to Shkodra for the trust. Faith is one of the most expensive things that can be given," said Beci.

He promised that he will be at the service of every citizen of Shkodra. He also expressed his gratitude to the democrats, for whom he said he has an obligation to return their trust to their work as well.

"I am grateful to every democrat who saw us with a little doubt and finally many of them managed to give us their trust. For us, it is an obligation to return to work for them as well. Today we are facing an extraordinary challenge to do what we have promised and with a special gratitude to Prime Minister Rama whose support and plans, and the projects we have unveiled for Shkodra will become a reality. This is our obligation ", said Beci.

While the political leader of the SP for the district of Shkodra, Elisa Spiropali, praised the campaign made in these elections and expressed her belief that the newly elected mayor of the municipality of Shkodra, Benet Beci, "will keep his promise to make Shkodra the capital of the north, the gateway to Albania from Europe and a gem in the region".

"We greet you from the fantastic region of Shkodra after a very beautiful, energetic, humane campaign, meetings with all the communities. An extraordinary campaign has been carried out in the entire district, which has strongly impressed me as a political leader of the Shkodër district. It was an honor for me. We have produced a new mayor of Shkodër, the mayor of Vau te Deja, and the mayor of Malësi e Madhe. Of course, a campaign has been made in Shkodër that exceeds all expectations, with humility, with a new approach to the municipality of Shkodër, which has not, as some say, fallen, in fact Shkodra has risen and will rise to a new level of tourist development and economic. We will serve everyone without distinction and I am sure that Beneti will keep his promise to make Shkodra the capital of the north, Albania's gateway to Europe and a gem in the region".

It seems that the former LSI deputy, Agron Çela, had a special role in this victory.

"The pride that I am here today is an honor and value. Congratulations", said Agron Çela.

On the other hand, Minister Edona Bilali said that she dreamed that one day would come and it is now a reality.

"I am very excited, I joined the SP because I really believed that a day like this would come for Shkodra, Shkodra trusted us and it remains for us to serve it", said Edona Bilali.
