At the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group meeting, Edi Rama spoke about what he called the great "paradox" of his government, a transformation that is making history, while the government that has undertaken it is constantly accused of being the most corrupt and the country as the most criminalized.

Rama spoke of a new and independent judiciary, with the "natural lapses of age", but which has taken up the sword against corruption and organized crime with the blessing of the governing majority. According to him, it is precisely this judiciary, established and supported by the government, that today strikes indiscriminately.

He further brought to attention official figures on the number of corruption accusations over the years, emphasizing that they are many times less than those stated in public. Rama emphasized that 85% of the cases belong to the first two mandates, a clear statistic according to the head of government that over the years corruption in Albania has decreased.

Another element of the "paradox", according to Rama, is the fact that Albania ranks first in the region for integrity in public procurement according to European Union assessments, which in his interpretation indicates a decrease in corruption, not an increase.

At the end of his speech, the government leader also focused on the media, taking Blendi Fevziu as an example, with whom he had a "clash" on social media a few weeks ago.

"Now, this is a fact, another fact is that Albania from the EU in the first place in the region for public procurement, for integrity with a difference from the second place. Which means that there is less corruption, not more. The third is that Albania is Albania that has saved Albanians, according to an international consultant that we hired, a long queue as long as 22 thousand revolutions around the earth and almost 1 billion euros out of pocket for all kinds of situations. It means that there is less corruption.

There is another fact that strongly fuels the paradox: in the case of corruption charges, there could be 10 in total, and this includes not just members of the government, but also shows, news, posts on 700 hotbeds of controversy, there could be 10 million.

"Only in Blendi Fevziu's pot, which with its size sucks me in, there may have been 1,000 shows, where the word corruption may have been used 100 million times, wiretapping may have been used 100,000 times, and the word thief 10,000 times," said Rama.

Paradox: Thanks to us, under our leadership and even with our skin, this transformation is taking place in Albania, which will go down in history as an epochal transformation with a new and independent justice system, with all its natural deviations for its age, but which has taken up the sword of the fight against corruption and organized crime with our blessing. Our government is constantly criticized as the most corrupt and Albania is constantly smeared as the most criminalized.

Look at how the pots are boiling that the Prosecution is not investigating even though it has long had files there for money laundering and tax evasion with facts and signed by the authorities of the same state. But how is it possible? How is this disgusting cowardice swallowed by brave men who blindly play with state employees and SP politicians. Which go from the serious ones to those imaginary abuses of the duties of administration employees and are rubbed like chickens by the two biggest bullies of the Albanian media bazaar who bombard the public with the excrement of every anti-corruption character and black money. Meanwhile, the files with all the facts of dirty money recycling have been in the prosecution for years.

It seems to me that it is not right that the more corruption is fought, the more corruption there is, and moreover, to give all those who have elected us a mirror to see the reality today beyond the homemade bombs. In the history of SPAK there are only 10 accusations of corruption, 10 in the entire history. 16 for abuse of office, now the figures may vary slightly since they are not all published, these are the figures of the Ministry of Justice and 15 cases of inequality in tenders and public auctions. 10 for corruption, I am talking about accusations, I am not talking about sentences.
