Albania today condemned the Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates.

The news is confirmed by local media, which refer to a phone call that Prime Minister Edi Rama had with the President of the Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where he expressed Tirana's official position on the tense situation in the region.

During the phone call, Rama described the attacks as a violation of international law and the UN Charter, emphasizing that Albania stands by the Emirates in every measure they take to protect their sovereignty and security.

During the conversation, the two leaders also discussed the rapid military escalation in the region, emphasizing that tensions must stop as soon as possible and the conflict must not expand, as it risks plunging the region into a dangerous phase of instability, with consequences not only for the Middle East, but also for global security.

The President of the Emirates thanked Albania for its support and solidarity at this delicate moment.
