Prime Minister Edi Rama said that in 2030 we should sit as equals at the table of the European Union.

Rama said that this is our objective, this is our task, although we have a process that has its own stages.

" Our diplomatic body must rise to a new level. This is completely possible by using the experience it has, the excellent examples that are representative of this community, but also the transforming element of Albania.

Today, Albania is a magnet that attracts visitors from all over the world. Last year we attracted 10 million tourists, this year the figure will be even higher, and this is a data that is associated with the growth of the economy, with the increase in income, with the increase in wages.

We have 10,000 new businesses in Albania, referring to the 6-month figures, we have an increase in foreign investments by 15% only in the first 3 months of the year, we have an increase in the number of employees ", said Rama.

He said that the stage we are in is completely favorable to take our final step, thus placing our national flag in the yard of the EU in Brussels.

The Prime Minister said that we want to promote peace, stability and the Region as a whole, as this is our interest. " We must encourage every energy that makes the Region more cooperative, that makes it more sensitive to the future and less to the past. We must read the past with the eyes of the future and this is the key point on which we build relations with the countries of the Region", said Rama.

He stated that more should be done in relation to Greece, Turkey and Italy, which he described as Albania's strategic partners. "I congratulate our ambassador in Athens for the transformation he has made to the relations of Albanians living abroad with embassies and consulates, but in relation to Turkey and Italy we must do even more in relation to investments and commercial exchanges ", he said.
