As part of his speech in the Kosovo Assembly, Prime Minister Edi Rama also addressed the Kosovo Liberation Army and what is happening with the KLA leaders in The Hague.

" In the absence of Hashim, Kadri, Jakupi, Rexhepi, there is a lump in the throat, from the suspicion that that process is legally irregular, and that its standards are below the standards of justice of any democratic country that finances that court.

In this hall, no initiative has been taken to ask, through a resolution supported by all political forces, at least by the Albanian parties, all the countries financing that court, the great concern about the standards of that process and to request the establishment of a verification mission regarding this concern. The court is independent, but the standards are not dependent on the judges. Perhaps this widespread concern may not stand, but if it does, then this is a big deal. Not for those 4 simple people, but for the integrity of international justice itself, to which this republic entrusted the judgment of the history that gave birth to the republic. Therefore, it cannot be left in deafening silence that feeds the rest of all kinds of motives from the noblest to the most political, so that that disaster, if it is a disaster, does its damage to the end. "I want everyone to know that if the Assembly were to take the initiative to address all the sponsoring states of the special court and if we were asked to join such an initiative with the Albanian Assembly, the Socialist Party would engage without any hesitation to submit the same resolution to the Albanian Assembly ," said Rama.
