Edi Rama, during a meeting with the citizens of Vau i Deja, asked Zef Hila, the candidate of Meta and Berisha for this municipality, not to try to distribute money for buying votes.

Rama said that such cases will not be tolerated, referring to the case of the arrest of Fredi Beleri in Himare on the charge of distributing money for the purchase of votes and the two employees of the Shkodër municipality who were caught with 50 bags of different food in attempts to distribute them.

"Zef, don't take people by the neck by handing out money for votes because it's too late. Trust me, I know you don't but don't let others do that they are getting too caught up. It's nice that when they get caught, they say "they are stealing our votes".

Zef, this work is done, Kristjana will take the baton. We don't come here to say come here everybody be a socialist. When we take the direction of a municipality, we don't divide people, for us there is no left or right, only straight ahead for the left and the right," said Rama.
