Prime Minister Rama is in Madrid, Spain, invited to the ceremony for the awarding of the "Espanol Universal Award", a prestigious international award given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion and improvement of Spanish culture, language and heritage worldwide.

Prime Minister Edi Rama will be received by King Felipe VI at the Zarzuela Royal Palace in Madrid.

10:00 – Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama meets with King Felipe VI

10:30 – King Felipe VI will receive in audience the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama.

As part of this visit, the "World Law Congress 2027" agreement will be signed at a special ceremony to be held in Tirana.

This Congress, held after 2 years in Tirana, brings together jurists, judges, advocates and academics from all over the world. For Prime Minister Rama, this is a signal that the international community seeks to recognize our democracy and justice. At the meeting of the Council of Ministers on January 29, 2025, a fund of 150 million lek was allocated for this activity.
