The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech at the Democratic Party's national protest, said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has become a multi-billionaire with the public assets of Albanians.

Berisha said that from today, the head of government, Edi Rama, is no longer prime minister, but a gang leader.

According to him, Rama is trying to silence the opposition at all costs.

"Tonight they rose like a hurricane to save Albania and Albanians. This is one of the most critical moments of the nation. Albania has lost its youth. Rama has decided to become multi-billionaires with your public assets.

"He has placed himself above the law and above any power. Edi Rama, from tonight you will never be known as prime minister, but as a bandit. Rama has tried to silence the opposition ," said Berisha.

Berisha, in his speech at the national protest, declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama "did everything to close every space for the opposition."

"Dear friends, after turning the elections into an electoral farce, organizing thousands of illegal activities during the electoral period with your money, arresting the main leaders of the opposition parties, using tons of drugs from the cartels, transforming state employees into police officers of free voting, forgiving 2 billion euros in fines and interest just for his seat, he, in an unprecedented revenge, did everything to close every space for the opposition," said Berisha.

"He thought that Albania, without opposition, would now realize his project. Friends, he has rarely ever decided, only in some African countries, that the governments become multi-billionaires and billionaires and the citizens become impoverished and abandon their country.

"With your money, Edi Rama has placed the black veil of censorship, pays his media, which glorify evil, glorify his crime, demonize the opposition, deceive citizens. With the money that you robbed, this fierce enemy of the Albanian being, contracts lobbyists, former ministers, former prime ministers, diplomats, ambassadors, high officials, for paid statements, for international fraud, for battles against the opposition. All while believing that Albania without opposition is a project that will soon be realized.
