Prime Minister Edi Rama says that he cannot run for a fourth term, as he still has work to do.
"The plan is to run. But there is still time until then. I believe I need to run because there is work to be done. And in these three mandates we have done wonderful things", said Rama in an interview with Reuters.
"Albania was not on the map. Albania became news only for bad news. While now we have crossed the ceiling of 10 million tourists in a country where tourism was a good idea and a dream, but not a reality".
"Then, it is also this phase of the fight against corruption, which must become irreversible. And with the potential target of flying our flag in Brussels within this decade it's worth running for another term. Then the people will decide," said Rama.
