Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview with Reuters, excludes any possibility of having an agreement similar to that of Italy for immigrants with other countries in the European Union.

Excerpt from the interview:

Edi Rama, prime minister of Albania: Germany must find another partner, because Albania has created an agreement with Italy and Albania cannot do this with everyone. And if Germany finds another partner in the region, it would be nice to see if it works the same way.

When there are still a few months left before the general elections, the head of the government openly shows his objective to run for a fourth term as prime minister.

Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania: The plan is to run. I believe I should run because there is work to be done. In these three mandates, we have done amazing things. Albania used to be just bad news when it came to news, but now we've crossed the 10 million tourist ceiling in a country where tourism was a good idea but not yet a reality. There are still many things to be done, such as the fight against corruption, which must be an irreversible fight.

And one of the reasons that, according to him, Albanians should trust the socialists with another mandate is Albania's integration into the European Union within 2030.

Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania: The opportunity is now more than ever. So our goal anyway is to make Albania a member country as a country to do all the homework, including all the institution building reforms, meet all the criteria and standards by 2030.
