The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, has reacted after Prime Minister Rama presented today at the meeting of the SP Assembly, the changes of political leaders in the regions and units of Tirana. Blendi Gonxhja, Plarent Ndreca and Endrit Hoxha were appointed as leaders in Unit 14 and Kashar.

Through a post on social media, Gonxha wished Albana Koçiu and Megi Fino success as leaders of the Combine unit, which he previously led himself.

Meanwhile, Gonxha thanked Prime Minister Edi Rama for the trust he has given to the political leadership in Unit 14 and Kashar.

Blendi Gonxhja's reaction:

Good luck to colleagues Albana Koçiu and Megi Fino, who with their very representative roles as Deputy Prime Minister and Mayor of Tirana City Council, respectively, will be able to help in the fastest resolution of the vital problems of the Combine, by taking over the political leadership of Unit 6, where we truly achieved the best result among urban units on May 11, 2025, leading in Tirana with 53.74% for the Socialist Party, but where we still have extraordinary challenges to solve, such as reconstruction and housing!

Thank you to Prime Minister Edi Rama for trusting my new commitment to political leadership in Unit 14 and Kashar, where together with colleagues Plarent Ndreca and Endrit Hoxha we will continue working on the electoral campaign for the 2027 local elections in one of the areas with the widest territorial reach but also urban dynamics like Astir and Yzberishti, with around 51 thousand voters in the last elections, with constant growth in residents every year!

As the most voted MP of the open list for the Tirana District in the general elections of May 11, I congratulate all citizens for the vote of confidence, in particular the electorate of Unit 6, Unit 14, Kashari, Vora Municipality, but also the supporters in all the municipalities of the largest district in the country, assuring them of my continued dedication and attention, as their chosen one, despite the specific task of the zonal political delegation!

Eternal gratitude to the socialist team of Unit 6 and our electoral headquarters!

Many successes to Taulant Balla as political leader for the municipalities of Kavajë, Rrogozhinë, Vorë and Kamëz and to Ogerta Manastirliu as political leader for the Municipality of Tirana! May we all be blessed!
