Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote in a Facebook post that from January to August this year there were 8.5 million visitors in Albania.

Rama says that the number of visitors who frequent Albania is increasing every year. He stressed that Albania is attracting tourists from far-flung countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, China and Japan.

8.5 MILLION foreign visitors tasted our country from January to August this year, not only more in number compared to last year's outbreak of Tourist Albania, but also with a greater variety of countries of origin, from which previous flows from previous sources have definitely increased, New influxes of tourists from far-flung countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Canada, New Zealand and Australia have also emerged, as well as from Azerbaijan, China and Japan, where the figures promise further growth on the road to Albania 2030, while the tourist year continues with groups enjoying the many destinations from north to south. In mountain tops, cultural heritage sites, valleys and rivers along the magnificent body of Albania, as well as in Tirana turned into a favorite tourist station.
