The SP rejects the request for the dismissal of Nikola from the post of Speaker

The majority dismissed this Thursday the opposition's request for the dismissal of the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla. 78 deputies voted against the request of the Democratic Party, while only 3 deputies voted in favor.

Some of the draft laws that were on the agenda were also approved by majority vote. The voting was carried out during tensions as the opposition MPs had blocked the floor.

Likewise, Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present during the voting of the deputies. His presence caused tension in the Assembly as DP deputies demanded that he be interrogated for the McGonigal case./
