The representative of the opposition coalition "Bashke Fitomje" Altin Kaziaj has publicly denounced the pressure that, according to him, is being put on the voters in the voting centers by people who are not authorized to be there.
Through a statement to the media, Kaziaj called on the head of the State Police to add officers to the perimeter of the polling stations, to prevent such persons from intimidating the voters.
" People who have electoral duties must stay in these premises. Many media have broadcast people in hoodies and sweatshirts who are exerting pressure on the constitutional right of citizens.
I call on the director of the State Police, Mr. Rrumbullaku, to take immediate measures by ensuring the presence of the police in what the law allows, by taking out of the voting centers these persons who have nothing to do with the commissioners of the voting centers, to be outside the 150 meter perimeter.
In Tirana there is an increased presence of these people, this is a communication that is being made to the citizens, do not be afraid of the intimidation that is being done to you, call the State Police and if they do not answer you, we will take any legal action for responsible ", said Kaziu.
He also emphasized that all commissioners for the "Together We Win" coalition are at the top of their duties.
