DP publishes DOCUMENTS: The 70-year-old mother of the Minister of Interior, owner of the car wash at 'Hotel Rogner', receives TENDER from the government!

The Democratic Party has denounced this Saturday the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha, who it says is the owner of the car wash where Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, paid 10 thousand euros to wash her car.

The spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Unit of the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli, through a statement to the media, says that "the 70-year-old mother of Minister Hoxha is the owner of the commercial entity 'Veba 45' shpk with the object of 'parking and vehicle wash administration'."

"It is not surprising that Balluk's 'small purchases' of up to 10 thousand euros for a car wash had the objective of sending public money to the building next to the CM where Minister Hoxha's family car wash is located," the DP's denunciation states, among other things.

Statement by the Anti-Corruption Spokesperson in the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli:

Minister Ervin Hoxha could not be any different from his predecessors in that position, who are in prison or under investigation, or from his colleagues in the government.

Hoxha has not yet joined those who eat plums behind Rama's back, but the popular expression 'the grapes are ripe' applies to him.

Like other socialists in government who revived theft, Hoxha uses the company in his elderly mother's name to benefit from public money.

Minister Hoxha's 70-year-old mother turns out to be the owner of the commercial entity 'Veba 45' shpk with the object of 'parking and vehicle wash management near the 'Rogner' Hotel.

The administrator of the same entity is his brother Darling Hoxha , also Director of the Tirana OSSH Regional Directorate.

Pursuant to the law on conflict of interest, articles 27 and 35, if shares or parts of capital are registered in the name of a related person, they are valued the same as if they were registered in the name of the official himself, and the related person's property rights to them are limited, to the same extent and in the same manner as in the case of the official himself.

Not only does the person associated with the official carry out commercial activities, but according to data extracted from Spending data, it results that the entity 'Veba 45' shpk has benefited from public funds from various state institutions, including those where Minister Hoxha has had an employment relationship, specifically the Central Administration of the State Labor Inspectorate, the General Directorate of Taxes, the Territorial Development Agency, the General Directorate of Prisons, the Public Commissioners, the General Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage, etc.

It is no wonder that Balluk's 'small purchases' of up to 10 thousand euros for car washes were aimed at sending public money to the building next to the Ministry of Interior where Minister Hoxha's family car wash is located.

Therefore, the technical specifications set out in the invitation to bid for the procedure with the object 'Car washing service, upholstery' that would be held on March 28, were specifically tailored to the parking lot wash of Veba 45 shpk.

As soon as the news broke and was denounced by the opposition leader, Professor Doctor Sali Berisha, the Ministry of Interior immediately canceled the procedure with the justification that the tender documents contained important errors and shortcomings and were no longer published.

There is not a single inch of the homeland left that these people don't want to seize. From the sea to the mountains and from the skyscrapers to the car washes and parking lots beneath them.

The Democratic Party calls on SPAK to launch investigations to confront any violators with the law.
