The official Democratic Party will gather on Monday and Tuesday its structures in order to establish the official steps that will be followed for the future.

The General Secretary of this group, Gazment Bardhi, has distributed a notice announcing the meeting of the Parliamentary Group and the leadership of the party.

"Based on the request of some colleagues, members of the Presidency of the Democratic Party and the Parliamentary Group, in order to assess the political situation and especially the steps that the Democratic Party of Albania should take for its revival and strengthening, in accordance with the Party's Statute, I have decided :

- The call for the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, on Monday, 05.06.2023, at 12:00.

- The call of the meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, on Tuesday, 06.06.2023, at 17:00.

On the agenda of both meetings: "Discussion on the political situation in the country, and on the process of reorganization of the PDSH". "Each member of the Parliamentary Group and the Party Presidency will use the time available to elaborate and propose the best solutions for strengthening and reorganizing the party," writes Bardhi.

The former chairman of the DP, Lulzim Basha, has also appeared on the political scene. He left open the possibility of returning to the head of this force, while attacking Sali Berisha.
