Democratic MP Edi Paloka has rejected Enkelejd Alibeaj's invitation to come up with a joint candidate with Reestablishment in the May 14 local elections.

In a statement to the media, Paloka called this hypocrisy and said that all this is part of Rama's game to destroy the opposition.

"From the moment it comes out of the mouth of the Alibashes, it is implied that it is just hypocrisy, and time has proven this, Rama gives them the stamp. Rama's collaborators have been opened and now the parties propose cooperation with DP. All this is part of Rama's game to destroy the PD and the Albanian opposition, these are Rama's collaborators and servants in this game. How suddenly they accept the candidates of the primaries and when the negotiations took place they did not know the primaries. It is hypocrisy to damage the DP in the elections for which they tried to exclude it from the elections".

Paloka emphasized that they are in negotiations with other opposition parties to enter the coalition in the elections.

"These are all the parties that we have had a coalition with, we are also talking with the other parties of the coalition. According to the formula of the Electoral Code, we will have to find the optimal formula for the coalition".
