DP MP Albana Vokshi has published two photos on social media, expressing indignation at the language used towards her by the leader of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla.
"For you, Albana, I have the number 900," Balla said in the Assembly, referring to the MP, who considered the language offensive and sexist.
Vokshi responded today by publishing photos showing graffiti on walls: "O 900 contact Taulant Balla for corruption and political s***!".
"Today, on the walls of Tirana, citizens have returned the answer themselves. The message that is emerging throughout the city is the people's revolt against corruption and the links between politics and crime. When the arrogance of power faces the anger of citizens, propaganda is no longer enough. Albania needs justice and politics that serve the citizens, not cynicism and protection of corruption. The voice of citizens cannot be hidden, neither by the paint on the walls nor by the propaganda of the government," Vokshi writes in her message on social networks.
