The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, received permission from SPAK not to appear on February 3, due to a visit he will make to Germany.
The former Prime Minister told News24 that there was no reason why he should be denied travel to Germany, while saying that " after the meetings, he can go to SPAK for two more days in a row."
Berisha said that he has received an invitation to be part of an activity in Germany and that he will meet activists and militants.
The DP leader also said that he will meet with immigrants regarding the registration process for the May 11 elections.
"I have an invitation to participate in an activity, I'm going to meet our activists and militants regarding the registrations. So, it's a series of activities ," Berisha said.
Question : Does it mark a moment of peace between you and SPAK?
Berisha: It doesn't matter because there is no reason for me to be banned from going abroad, because that would then be a restriction on movement abroad. I am ready to go two days in a row after today for a conference. I am not lazy. I have a great media activity there.
Berisha will not appear in the SPAK on February 3, after the GJKKO has approved the request submitted by the Democrat leader's lawyers not to appear. The GJKKO has imposed the security measure "compulsory appearance" on the Democrat leader for the privatization of the Partizani complex, a matter where his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, was also investigated.
